Which crochet gift should I choose?
We have 43 gifts, most of them handmade crochet: crochet bags for girls, small baskets, crochet vases holding flowers, crochet doilies presented like a bouquet, and bouquets of crochet roses that never wilt. There are also artificial flower arrangements that look real, set in a ceramic bowl. A bag is a gift she will wear, for a friend or a sister on her birthday or graduation, while a doily or a vase suits a mother on her day or a thank-you. For more ideas read gifts other than flowers.
A gift that lasts without water
Crochet and artificial flowers need no water and never wilt, so the gift stays for years on a table or a shelf. Dust it with a soft brush and keep it out of direct sun so the colours last; cotton pieces that need washing can be washed by hand in cold water and dried flat. Some crochet vases hold fresh flowers, and those need water like any vase. The recipient sets the place and time from a WhatsApp link.
